USES
CHEM-CURE 20 can be used for curing fresh concrete to prevent losses of hydration moisture and to prevent formation of cracks. CHEM-CURE 20 Provides optimum curing when protection from the sun’s heat is desired. It reflects the sun’s rays to keep the concrete surface cooler which prevents excessive heat buildup which can cause thermal cracking. It is ideal for application on exterior, horizontal surfaces, such as highways, airports, and street and curb paving.

APPLICATION
Preparation: As soon as the concrete assembly has reached the set stage and the finishing is completed, make sure the surfaces of the concrete assembly are free from ponded water and proceed to application.
Mixing: any settlement can be re-dispersed with gentle agitation prior to use. CAUTION: TO AVOID FOAMING, DO NOT MIX EXCESSIVELY.
Application Method: application equipment must be clean and free of any previously used materials. Spray on in one even coat with a hand or power sprayer as soon as the surface water disappears from horizontal concrete surfaces.
Use a sprayer and a spray nozzle that produces a flow of 0.5 GPM under 40 psi of pressure. Do not allow spray nozzle to drip.
Drying Time: approximately two hours depending on temperature, humidity, and wind conditions. Restrict foot traffic for at least four hours.
Coverage: 200 ft2/gal. (4.91 m²/L). Coverage is approximate and may vary depending on surface finish/texture, concrete condition, climatic conditions, etc. Always apply to a test area first to determine actual coverage rate before full-scale application.
Cleaning: clean all tools and sprayers with water and soap.
STORAGE
Store all containers between 40ºF and 95ºF (5 and 35ºC). Shelf life is two years in its original unopened packaging. Don’t allow product to freeze.
SAFETY
Do not allow material to come into contact with eyes, hands, glass, aluminum or glazed tile systems.
